ITI Studio is an engineering and architecture firm that primarily operates
in health care, education, corporate, and residential construction of buildings
and community spaces.
From project creation through the construction process,
ITI studio has the ability to combine ENGINEERING & DESIGN, developing
projects in synergic divisions: BUILDING - INTERIOR DESIGN - LANDSCAPE - CONSULTING.
ITI Studio has a skilled team which pulls together diverse expertise in
an interdisciplinary process integrating and narrowing and the gap between
engineering and design.
The project quality is guaranteed by accurate methodology,
storage and the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM). This process
organizes all design, construction and management information--ferrying
the initial idea contained in the sketch through to each project.
In every
undertaking, careful attention is paid to the specific characteristics of
a place, needs of the people, and a continual deep analysis of its specific
concerns.
In 1983 arch. Bruno Marcotti and arch. Giuseppe Marchesi gave life to
ITI Integrated Technological Infrastructure, that is born from the desire
to use all on the experience gained in previous years, in field of design,
planning and management of large healthcare facilities in Italy and Latin
America.
Technology integration and achievement of the highest levels of quality
and reliability were the guiding principles that have influenced lives
of those who started and who came to work in ITI over time and took over
this experience. In 2003 ITI became ITI srl Engineering Company based in Milan.
In 2016 born in Lima ITI Studio sac.
The integration of the planning disciplines has been the key to success
that led to the achievements of many projects, including:
47 works between operating blocks, intensive care and delivery
rooms
14 nursing homes for elderly
41 hospital wards
12 diagnostics for images wards
7 analysis and research laboratories
65 hospitals
13 clinics
In the Health and social care field, we dedicate particular attention
to identify the national and international standards, participating in
the drafting of specific rules.
An efficient method of work.
For many years in architecture and engineering field we have heard the
term CAD Computer Aided Design that defines a digital format and a family
of software based on geometric vectorial elements. The use of these tools
has replaced the manual technical drawing generally performed with the
drafting table but, except for some little exceptions, it covers the basic
principles. In the first case everything is drawn with the "pencil",
in the other everything is represented by vectors: a line can indiscriminately
represent a wall, a gear or the leg of a table.
The BIM System, Building Information Modeling, revolutionizes the CAD
concept of representation. We will not represent anymore an element in
a view (plan, perspective and section), but each element will be
modeled in the three dimensions and therefore "seen" in the
appropriate view and scale. We will no longer speak of vectors but elements,
we will no longer speak of representation but modeling. BIM is this method
to order all the information, related to each element, we need for a building
planning, construction and management.
A quality key factor is the uniqueness of the data. Each element, as in
reality, exists only once and is characterized by its ID (Identity Document)
and by its technical features (parameters). This means that the change
of an element automatically generates the updating of all the project
views, plans, perspectives, sections, renderings, but also schedules,
calculations ...
If we add to this the opportunity to share the project among different
users through access privileges, it is easy to imagine how this type of
technology can drastically reduce the possibility of error in an integrated
design.
In our work, we have been using this technology since 2006 with the Revit
software, the Autodesk BIM.
Born in Milan, Italy in 1946, he received his Architectural Degree from
Politecnico di Milano in 1971, where worked as a professor till 1981.
From 1976 to 1983 worked with Hosp.ital S.p.a., developed significant design and construction interventions in Italy,
Latin America, and Africa, such as feasibility studies and renovation
of hospitals, new hospitals for 200, 250, 600, 865 beds, a number of operating
blocks, delivery rooms, intensive care units as well as mobile hospitals
of helicopter and truck use. Since 1983 he has been the owner of the ITI
studio.
Born in Milan, Italy in 1946, after the high school of arts, she received
his Architectural Degree from Politecnico di Milano in 1971. She has been
associated in the design of school buildings and social and health facilities,
teaching for a few years at the Istituto Europeo di Design. As for the
part of the residential and hotel facilities her work was dedicated to
restructuring and interior design, especially in Milan and Lombardy. In
Val d'Aosta, in particular, she is following the restructuring of "Rascards."
Since 2003 she is a partner of the ITI Studio.
Born in Milan, Italy in 1976, Marcotti received his Architectural Degree
from Politecnico di Milano in 2000. He attended Architettura ETSAB in
Barcellona, worked for the Mies van der Rohe program with architect Dominique
Perrault. He has worked in graphic design and 3D modeling in collaboration
with MCCGLC and was a founder of BTL. Distinguished by meticulous attention
to the entire development process, he has the curiosity and the commitment
in giving an idea a shape. Since 2001, Marcotti has been overseeing ITIs
projects from feasibility study to project management. Some of his works
have been featured in trade magazines and he presented projects at seminars
and conferences.
